How Long Does it Take?

The Treatment

To create a personalised treatment plan for your smile, we’ll begin with an all-inclusive examination of your mouth and grin. We will then proceed by taking impressions and x-rays to ensure the highest accuracy in our plans.

Depending on the number and arrangement of teeth, brackets must be placed. Subsequent appointments involve tightening braces as well as placing additional brackets if necessary. On average, treatment usually takes anywhere from 3 to 12 months to complete.

After treatment is complete, the braces are removed and retainers are placed in order to prevent any relapse. Retainers are highly recommended for all patients.
